VPN registration deadlines extended
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) Executive Significant General (resigned) Hafeezul Rehman affirmed on Saturday that the public authority had endorsed an augmentation for the cutoff time to enroll virtual confidential organizations (VPNs), however, no new date was given.
The PTA boss consoled clients that VPNs wouldn’t be impeded on November 30, as at first arranged. “VPNs won’t be impeded today,” he said, tending to worries about interruptions.
Notwithstanding, he ceased to indicate another cutoff time for enrollment, adding, “How long VPN enlistment is expanded is a matter for the inside service”.
The expansion follows a solicitation from Wispap, which had encouraged the inside service to stretch out the cutoff time to “work with consistency”.
The date will be announced soon. Stay Tuned…
